I'm Alex Costa, a screenwriter, film director and photographer, based in Southwest Alentejo.
I graduated in filmmaking in Faro and over the years I've worked with great professionals behind and in front of the camera.

I directed an institutional advert entitled "Socorro!" (Help!); I was director of photography on a documentary; assistant director on a music video and two short films. Recently, I've been a screenwriter on several projects and co-director of the films "Alfredo" and "Amarrada" (Tied Up), the latter of which won multiple national and international awards.
Passionate about capturing image and emotion, I decided to apply my film knowledge to photography, starting another chapter.
